Facade Grant Program

The Main Street Albany Facade Grant Program offers matching grants to commercial property owners and/or retail business owners who wish to restore the exteriors of their buildings. This program is maintained by the Main Street Albany Design Committee and overseen by the Main Street Albany Board of Directors. Goals of the program are the following: 

• Improve the physical appearance and structural integrity of historic buildings in the Main Street Albany business district.

• Restore the historic character of buildings in the Main Street Albany business district.

• Make Downtown Albany more attractive to residents and tourists.

• Encourage additional business investment opportunities and improvements. 

The grant program is currently closed. Watch for future application dates.
